Buona domenica,

Umberto

Also this Sunday we draw conclusions about a full week of pre-production of LARPers - to protect and play.

The main news is certainly the shift in the filming of the teaser of the webseries to 11th-12th May 2012. We made this choice for many reasons, firstly with the aim to achieve a better end result. Among these, the presence of new members in the cast available now and the arrival of a stunt coordinator of exception. This means that there is still time to participate in the teaser as an appearance, Saturday, May 11 in "bourgeois" (full details here), Sunday, May 12 in medieval clothes, in the reconstruction of a pitched battle (full details here) .

On Monday, Angelo and Gabriele Ragusa entered the team of LARPers. This is our Stunt Coordinator and his son, an experienced stuntman. We will devote a separate post to the Ragusa, but to understand to whom professionals we are accompanying with you should just know thatthat Angelo began with “Fratello Sole, Sorella” Luna by Franco Zeffirelli and continued with Ladyhawk, The Name of the Rose, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, The Mummy , The Profession of Arms, The Passion of the Christ, Alexander, Quantum of Solace, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Angels and Demons and others to the most recent Diaz: do not clean up this blood. And the Gabriele’s curriculum is not far behind from the father’s one. Angelo and Gabriele will help the members of the Roman Academy of Arms, the actors and the figures involved in the fighting to get the best performance possible in the fight scenes.

Tuesday dress rehearsal for Lorenzo Richelmy as the young policeman operating Marco. We met him at the atelier of Fabric Factory where we were waiting Lalla Sabatella and Federica Scipios, the custom designer. Shortly after we have also achieved Valentina Matteoni and Gabriele stazi for L'Emporio Kloor'a'kawn that are dealing with fantasy costumes of "projection". You will understand what we mean by "projection" when we will have a better talk about the narrative and about the webseries. The policeman's uniform of Mark has been already tried, it was the turn of the "civilians" clothes and of the fantasy costumes. There will be a lot of leather and fur for the barbarian played by our main character in the role-playing game live.

On Wednesday we had a visit with the director of photography Giuseppe Mottola. Usually the DoP is the best ally of the director, and Joseph certainly did not contradict this tradition. To tell you the truth I am fortunate lucky to have many allies in this production! With us there were also Sergio Proto (first assistant director), James Reale (editor), Daniela Ceravolo (line producer) and Federica Zeccardo (abs production). We were fast and accurate, we have all the shots and points machine very clear in my head. Then I cooked lunch and after it, taking the storyboard , we studied the floor of the shots. They are a little 'more numerous than the ones that the hours of light will allow, but will try not to cut anything.

Thursday we told you about how the intro of LARPers was created, the result of the work of Paul Zambelloni, Alessio Frascati and Luca Bonatti. You have not seen it yet?! Click here.

On Friday, we announced the participation in the project of Jose Dammert who will play Danny. Alessia Pelonzi interviewed him for us and he said: "I am a staunch supporter of the webseries, which are in my opinion a form of expression completely free." We agree with him. Read the whole article here.

Saturday actors and about thirty of the appearances involved in the teaser have encountered the Stunt Coordinator Angelo Ragusa to try the action scenes. The sun shone on the small riding on the Via Prenestina which hosted the rehersals. Participants were sorted into two armies and deployed in the field. Lorenzo Richelmy, Alan Hats Goetz, Jose Dammert and Matteo Tanganelli have tried their choreography following the instructions of Angel with the help of the students of the Roman Academy of Arms and participation careful and detailed of all the appearances. Claudia Vismara did not want to abandon his fellow actors and was on the field to give his support: for her character in the teaser is not expected a fight to the white and she is not going to forgive me for it. Let's say that her contribution to the fight will be of another nature. You'll soon discover what I mean. Victor and Gaia (the guys backstage) are preparing an episode of the video blog dedicated to this day, so stay tuned.

We throw an eye on Indiegogo. We arrived at 8% of the amount needed to produce the pilot episode of the webseries. Thanks to all who have donated so far, thank you one by one in a separate post. There are still several days at the end of crowd funding, but why wait? If you like our project to help us achieve LARPers, just a token contribution to the link below!

Have a nice Sunday,

Umberto
