È ufficiale. Il 13 e 14 Aprile si gira il teaser di LARPers - to protect and play.

Per chi se lo chiedesse, un teaser è simile ad un trailer, ma più breve, di solito prodotto per comunicare più l’atmosfera che la sinossi di un film, con alcune fra le prime immagini che vengono girate. Nel nostro caso si tratta di immagini girate ad hoc per far assaporare al pubblico i punti di forza della serie.

Il teaser verrà presentato almeno tre settimane dopo le riprese, per dare alla crew di post-produzione il tempo di lavorare al montaggio delle immagini e del suono, agli effetti visivi (VFX), alla correzione colore, alla musica.

I reparti sono già al lavoro sulla pre-produzione. Forniremo aggiornamenti in tempo reale in questi giorni.

Ieri con Sergio (aiuto regista) e Jacopo (montatore) abbiamo effettuato un sopralluogo al Parco del Rigo di Cesano di Roma. È incredibile come il posto ideale spesso possa essere proprio dietro casa! In questa location intendiamo girare alcune scene davvero complesse che metteranno alla prova tutti i membri della crew. Molte comparse, coreografie, effetti visivi, insomma non poche complicazioni. Il prossimo passo sarà un secondo sopralluogo tecnico con Davide (direttore della fotografia), Maico (scenografo) e Pasquale (VFX). Solo dopo questo passaggio sarà possibile decidere le inquadrature definitive da storyboardare ed inserire nel piano di lavorazione.

Domani partirò alla volta di Castiglione in Teverina con Daniela (organizzatrice), Lalla e Federica di Fabric Factory (le costumiste), Victor (backstage) per incontrare Gabriele e Valentina de L’Emporio del Kloor’a’Kawn, che realizzeranno un complesso costume fantasy per il nostro protagonista. Non vedo l’ora di incontrare Ercole, il loro maiale domestico. Più intelligente di un cane intelligente, mi dicono. Di certo potenzialmente più saporito.

Poi ci sposteremo ad Agnano, nel pisano, dove si trova il magazzino centrale dei costumi e delle scenografie di GRVItalia. Poiché la responsabile della logistica Marella sarà impegnata nell’organizzazione di un evento per l’associazione, Francesco Scartoni sarà il Virgilio che accompagnerà Lalla e Federica nei gironi di questo luogo mitologico. Non immaginano cosa le aspetti.

It’s official. On April 13th and 14th shooting is scheduled for the teaser of LARPers - to protect and play.

For those who don’t know it, a teaser is similar to a trailer, but shorter, usually made to communicate more about the movie atmosphere instead of the plot, by selecting some of the first shooting. In our case it will be about specific shooting to let the audience taste series’ strong points.

Teaser will be available for at least three weeks after shooting to give time to post-production crew to work on the editing of images, sound, VFX, color adjustment and soundtrack.

Staff departments are already working on pre-production. We will give real time updates on these days.

Yesterday I was with Sergio (assistant director) and Jacopo (editor) and we did a survey at Parco del Rigo di Cesano ini Rome. It’s amazing how the perfect spot could often be right next to your house! We mean to shoot some particularly complex scenes on this area, scenes which will put all crew members to the test. Many extras, choreographies, visual effects, in other words many snags. Next step will be a second technical survey with Davide (director of photography), Maico (scenographer) and Pasquale (VFX). Only after this stage it will be possible to select the final framing for the storyboard and the working process schedule.

Tomorrow I’ll be off to Castiglione in Teverina with Daniela (coordinator), Lalla and Federica of Fabric Factory (both costume designers) and Viktor (backstage) to meet Gabriele and Valentina from L’Emporio del Kloor’a’Kawn, who will realize a complex fantasy costume for our main character. I’m looking forward to meet Ercole, their pet pig. Clever than a clever dog, as I am being told. Potentially tastier for sure.

Then we will move to Agnano, in Pisa whereabouts, where it lies costumes and scenographies main storage of GRVItalia. Since Marella (logistic manager) is busy with the arrangement of a game session for the association, it will be up to Francesco Scartoni to be the Virgil on leading Lalla and Federica throughout the circles of this mythological place. I can’t imagine what lies ahead for them.
